No More Heroes Wii
If, like me, you read comic books as a boy and wished that the lovingly drawn images would come to life, then the Wii game No More Heroes could be for you. The game is based around a chap called Travis Touchdown, a man who wields a mighty light sword weapon similar to those from Star Wars.
When you’re playing this game, you are an assassin that has to rise to the top of the ranks in the gory world of Santa Destroy. Combat is performed with the Wii remote. The light sword is swung by using the A button and basic combat moves are controlled with the B button. Final killing moves are performed with a quick wiggle of the remote, and this gives users a satisfying feeling when playing the game.
Aside from the combat, you will also find yourself roaming the city of Santa Destroy on your motorbike. It is during this time that you can spruce up your image or purchase valuable weaponry to use on your quest to rise in the ranks of assassins. The visuals, although by far not the best on the Wii, perfectly fit the comic book feel of the game. The cartoon style and over the top gore may put some off but the unique visuals and wacky sense of humour really make No More Heroes stand out amongst the other Wii shooters. This is a fun game to not only play but also a great game to look at if you’re looking for a chance to reminisce. With most consoles having usb ports these days, a branded usb stick is a great way to watch your favourite tv shows and films through the tv without fiddling around with expensive cables, signal converters etc.
